Volgaflex Inks

The Water Based Flexo Inks

Volgaflex water based colored Flexo Inks are available in 18 vibrant colors. These are non hazardous and eco-friendly inks specially developed for corrugated box, duplex board.

Volgaflex inks are sufficiently pigmented for higher opacity on dark background.

Volgaflex allows the printer to get the full and sharp dot gain to the best productivity of printing department.

Additives

1810 Volgaflex Defoamer

It is a semi opaque liquid to suppress foam during long run. Foaming will affects ink transferability which produces dull prints. It is advisable to use R.O water/ Demi water or Atlas ink reducer only.

1813 Volgaflex Retarder

It will retard drying time of an ink during summer.

Buffer

Buffer addition is recommended when pH of an ink lowers under 7. pH is a very important factor of a water based ink.

1812 Volgaflex Tack Reducer

Tack reducer is added when paper stick to the stereo. It reduces stickiness of an ink. Addition level is 2%-3% of an ink.

Stability

A very high stable ink maintains  the  sharpness,  smoothness,  as  well  as printability after long press run.

Volgaflex inks can be cleaned easily with water..

Notes: Customer shall maintain original prints for the purpose of verification of post check results.

Volgaflex will show about 85-95%close performance for various batches.

Viscosity

Inks are supplied to generally meet the requirement for desired print quality. However, variation due to atmospheric conditions at the users end one may need to adjust the viscosity for the requirement of efficiency of printing. Printer may add R.O water/Demi water or Atlas ink reducer up to 5%-7%. Addition of more R.O water/Demi water or Atlas ink reducer may cause poor sharpness, reduce colour strength and also separation on pigment from ink.

Important Tips

Ink storage
Store at proper temperature (35 ± 5° C). Higher temperature may affects ink stability.
Wash up

After printing job is done, rubber roll/anilox and stereo must wash immediately for next run. Do not mix washed water with ink.
